The Council of the College of Veterinary Medicine Holds Its Seventh Session for the Academic Year 2025–2026

The Council of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tikrit held its seventh session for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by Professor Dr. Bashar Sadiq Noumi, Dean of the College, and attended by the Vice Deans and the Heads of the scientific departments.

At the beginning of the session, the Dean welcomed the council members, wishing them continued success in carrying out their academic and administrative duties, and emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving the college’s objectives and advancing its academic standing.

The council discussed several items on the agenda, most notably setting the dates for the defense of a number of postgraduate (Master’s) theses, as well as determining the schedules for final examinations for postgraduate and undergraduate students for the first semester. In addition, a number of academic and administrative matters related to the college’s progress and organizational affairs were reviewed.

The convening of this session comes as part of the College of Veterinary Medicine’s commitment to continuing its scientific and academic journey in accordance with well-planned strategies, in line with quality assurance and accreditation requirements, and contributing to the provision of a sound educational environment that supports both students and academic staff.
