The College of Veterinary Medicine Holds Its Sixth Scientific Conference to Discuss Fifth-Year Students’ Graduation Research

 The College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University held its Sixth Scientific Conference to discuss the graduation research projects of fifth-year students, in the presence of Professor Hassan Hussein Ibrahim, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, along with a number of faculty members and students.

The conference commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the reading of Al-Fatiha in tribute to the souls of Iraq’s martyrs. Professor Dr. Bashar Sadiq Noumi, Dean of the College, then delivered a welcoming speech in which he praised the efforts of students and supervisors in completing graduation research projects that reflect the distinguished academic and scientific standards of the College.

In his remarks, the Dean emphasized the College’s commitment to strengthening the approach of applied education, which contributes to preparing veterinary graduates equipped with the scientific knowledge and practical skills necessary to serve the community and advance the veterinary sector. He also congratulated the College staff on the scientific and academic achievements accomplished during the recent period.

Following the opening session, the discussions of the graduation research projects commenced. The research presentations were distributed between two scientific committees, which held their sessions in Dr. Muhannad Maher Hall and the Seminar Hall. The discussions witnessed active scientific interaction between students and committee members, fostering a spirit of academic inquiry and enhancing students’ research skills.

At the conclusion of the visit, Professor Hassan Hussein Ibrahim commended the efforts of the College of Veterinary Medicine and its continuous attention to academic and scientific activities, reaffirming the University Presidency’s support for such initiatives that contribute to advancing the quality of higher education.
